Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you paint commissions?

    Yes, I do a lot of commissions. Just send me a message, or give me a call to discuss what you have in mind.

  • Can I order a painting in a different size or colours than that which is available?

    Yes, I can do a different size or alter in any means for you. It will not be exactly the same of course, however I will do my best to follow your instructions as closely as possible.

  • Can I purchase on laybuy?

    Yes. I ask for a 25% deposit, and then you are welcome to pay to my PayPal or EFT at anytime. I generally ask for you to have paid for your purchase within 3 months, after which I will ship it to you.

  • What is your return policy?

    If you need to return or exchange your purchase for any reason, just ship back to us in brand new condition within 30 days of your purchase. We’ll get you a refund. Just shoot me thru an email at vicky@eaglereachstudio.com.au


    Also in the unlikely event of any problems with your painting, just let me know. I take absolute pride in what I do and feel that you must be happy with what you have purchased, as you will look at it many times per day on your walls. Sometimes "stuff" just happens! Please don't hesitate to contact me I will do all I can to help.

  • How do you package your paintings for shipping?

    All Pastel portraits come mounted and securely packed between foam boards to protect them from damage. 


    Other mediums will be shipped in a tube with the surface of the painting protected by xxx paper. 


    All parcels are heavily marked with "Fragile" notices. I do all that I can to ensure your purchase will arrive safe and sound into your possession. We do ask that you kindly check your painting before signing for it. In the event that damage has occurred, please do not sign the receipt of delivery, and reject the delivery. I will make plans with you to do a new piece or provide a refund.


    If you purchase something from our online shop it will packaged appropriate to the item.


  • Do you ship Internationally? *

    Yes, many places in the world is Free Shipping on orders over $1000. Orders under $1000, for most of the world, is a flat rate of $250. Please drop me a message prior to ordering and I will confirm for you very quickly. 


    All items are shipped with tracking notifications.


    All International paintings are sent using Australia Post. Also, remember your country may levy taxes, customs fees, or import duties on the purchase that you'll be responsible for....however MANY have no costs associated with importing art, and Australia has a Free Trade Agreement with many countries. 


    If you need help, or more info just drop me a message and I will do what I can to assist.

  • Can you expedite shipping?

    Shipping overnight is an option within Australia. It is however expensive. Just contact me and let me know where you are and I can let you know the details. 


  • Do you have a gallery I can visit?

    I don't really have a "gallery"  as I would need to have many walls to have each piece I stock out on display. However, you are more than welcome to make an appointment to visit my studio and view all my stock prior to purchase. Just contact me to arrange a time. 

  • Can I insure my package during transit?

    Even though your artwork is securely packaged you may wish to have it insured during transit. If this is the case please contact me for prices.

  • Do I own the rights to the artwork?

    You will own the original Artwork. 


    A piece of Art and the copyright in that Art are two entirely separate commercial entities. The copyright remains with Eagle Reach Studio and the Artist.

  • What if the finished piece of Art does not match what I requested?

    We would hope this never happens and take care in creating the piece as requested. 


    You can request progress pictures to review stages in the creation of your commissioned piece. Feedback at any time during this process is welcome.


    However, if for some reason you are not happy with the finished product please contact us immediately.

  • Are my personal details secure?

    Yes. We do not store debit/credit card details.


    All personal data is stored in an encrypted secure database and we do not pass on any information to any third parties. All traffic from your device to our servers will be encrypted via an EV SSL certificate.

  • Can I Commission a Painting similar to something I have seen online or in a Gallery?

    Copying of existing Artwork by another Artist would breach copyright of that Artwork and is prohibited.


    You can request something 'in the style of' to aid understanding of your requirements but no Artist will directly copy an existing Artwork unless the copyright in the original Artwork had expired.


    If you are unsure about any copyright situation then you can email us for advice.


  • Is there a time limit for me to approve the final artwork delivered ?

    Yes. You will receive a picture of the completed piece prior to final payment. You are obligated to respond within 5 days after this notice. If there is no response it will be assumed that the piece has been accepted and final payment will be due. Once received your piece will be shipped.

  • I have a question that isn't listed here. What can I do?

    Please use the "Contact Us" form and we will respond as quickly as possible.
