Portraits as beautiful and unique as your loved one. I painstakingly hand draw every pet portrait over a period of days to truly bring the image to life. Affordable pet portraits that truly personify your best friend. All artwork is a custom piece and is NEVER a generic digital pet portrait.

Pastel portraits are created using Faber-Castell Pitt pastel pencils and CarbOthello Stabilo pastel pencils on Clairefontaine Pastelmat paper.

Pricing

Prices specified below are for a pastel pencil colour portrait of one animal or pet (head and shoulders) with no background. Normally it is better to focus on your pets face as this can better capture their unique character.

The final price may vary based on complexity of the piece.

In addition to pastel drawn pet portraits, I can also create a combination of watercolour and pencil portraits. Please contact me for pricing.

How to Commission Your own Custom Portrait

The process is really very simple:

  1. Choose some clear high-quality photos of your subject and email them to me. Include any description of your pets character you can so I can get a better feel for his or her personality. High quality photos will ensure that I can create strong and realistic animal portraits. Please email me if you need specific image guidelines.
  2. In the email include what size you are looking for.
  3. If the piece is for a specific deadline, such as a birthday, please mention this in your email so that I can ensure I block out the time.
  4. Upon receipt of your email I will review your requirements and get back to you with any questions.
  5. Once we have all the details finalised, I will then invoice you for a 50% deposit. The invoice will include the approximate completion date.
  6. On completion of your portrait, I will email you a proof of the finished portrait for your approval.
  7. When you are fully satisfied with the finished portrait you will be invoiced for the final balance.
  8. Courier delivery can be arranged Australia wide.


Your unique piece of art comes unframed in a well-protected package so that it arrives to you in perfect condition. You will also receive a signed and stamped certificate of authenticity.


Postage

Please note that postage and courier charges are not included in the above prices. If you would like a quote up front please specify that in your initial email and I am more than happy to obtain one for you.
